 We all know that successful conception does not just involve eggs, sperm, and the reproductive tract but also the nutrition and health status of the couple. Just as in all other areas of human physiology, the reproductive system works when the entire body is healthy and balanced. This includes not only physical health but also mental health.

So avoiding environmental toxins and maintaining a healthy diet may be helpful for general health, fertility, and pregnancy. Here are a few Healthy Tips from our team:

 What to Include:

  • Organically grown fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Anti-oxidants like tomatoes, blueberries, cranberries
  • Pre-conception and pre-natal vitamins
  • Whole grains and Omega-3 Fish oils
  • Home made desi ghee
  • Stay Hydrated – Drink plenty of water every day.


 
What to Avoid:

  • Taking too much salt, butter, and fried foods
  • Microwaving food in plastic containers
  • Pesticides and Herbicides
  • Refined foods such as white bread, white rice, potatoes, sugar
  • Caffeine and Alcohol
